Bounce Launch Party ft. A Little Sound

Introducing Bounce. Your new destination for pulsating beats of EDM and house music. Get ready to dance the night away with an electric light show to give you the full rave experience.

To celebrate the launch of our brand-new club night, we're ecstatic to announce that D&B musician and TikToker A Little Sound will be headlining the first-ever Bounce!

A Little Sound

Maybe you’ve had your ears perked by her dreamy vocal hooks, or perhaps you’ve seen her TikToks spreading the word about drum and bass. Either way, there’s a lot to love about A Little Sound. While still in her early twenties, A Little Sound has already been responsible for the vocals behind some of D&B’s biggest anthems in recent years. Singer, writer, DJ, stage host – you name it, she’s pushing to do it all. You can expect A Little Sound to only get louder as time goes on.

Making some big noises in music right now, A Little Sound has collected the Best Vocalist Award at the 2022 Drum and Bass Awards, not to mention taking home the 2023 BBC Radio 1 Future Star Award! Festival bookings have been rolling in across the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand including the likes of Glastonbury, Boomtown, Tomorrowland, Love Saves The Day, and many more this year alone.

Bringing guests to the SU

During Freshers' Festival (15-24 September 2023), no guest tickets will be available for events taking place at the SU Venue. This is to ensure we can maximise the number of new students experiencing our events. Guests are welcome to attend Freshers' Ball on Saturday 23 September, in addition to all events taking place within Medicine and The Packhorse.

Admission

Tickets will guarantee you entry to the event until 11pm, after this time entry will be dependent on venue capacity until last entry at midnight.

Identification

E-tickets are your ticket to the event and you'll need to have this with you to get into the venue. If you have purchased a student ticket, we may ask to see your Student ID Card. As a reminder, you are required to carry your Student ID Card with you whenever you are on campus.

Alongside this, you'll need to bring photographic proof of age ID (driving licence, passport, PASS card) which will be cross-referenced against your enrolment information.

Event tickets

When you purchase a ticket, you'll receive two emails. The first is your receipt of payment - we won't need to see this but you may wish to keep it as it includes your reference number. Your e-ticket will follow as a PDF in a separate email - you'll need to show us this on the door so we can scan you in. We advise you to lock your screen in portrait mode and turn up the brightness to make scanning easier. If you don't have access to a mobile device, we kindly ask that you print your e-ticket.

All sales are final, and refunds are not available on tickets once they have been purchased (including duplicates or purchases made in error, tickets bought for the wrong event or non-attendance due to personal choice, illness or injury).

Transfers

Your Student ID Card and tickets are not transferrable – i.e. you cannot lend it to anyone else to get into the venue.

Accessibility

As your Students' Union, we're keen to promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities and to take the necessary steps to meet their requirements - that's why we've ensured that everything we do is accessible to as many of you as possible.
