Resignation confirmation
If the resignation is confirmed you will need to agree a final shift date, based on a notice period of
one month, unless an earlier date is agreed. Any resignation needs to be in writing so please ask any
staff member who is intending to leave to confirm this in an email to you with their agreed final
working date.
You will need to forward the resignation letter or email to the SUHRteam, notifying the HR team of
the agreed final shift date. HR will add an End Date to RotaCloud meaning that no further shifts will
be available after this date. If the agreed end date changes you must let HR know immediately so
that RotaCloud can be updated.
HR will email the staff member confirming their final shift date and asking them to return their staff
card to the Helpdesk.
Once the final payroll with any remaining shifts has been paid, HR will remove the student from
RotaCloud, Sage Payroll and PeopleHR.
