The Media Arts Society is a new and rebranded society which works closely with the Media Arts department to help media students get the most out of their course. With funding from the department and the SU, we are able to organise trips, events, workshops, guest lecturers and work experience. Past media related trips have included the BBC, Warner Brothers Studios and Film Museums. You don't have to be a member to enjoy our events, anyone with an interest in Media is welcome. Here at the Media Arts Society we believe that it is important to connect and socialise as much as possible with its members and other societies on campus. If there is anything that you want or need from us just give us a shout!

Summer Elections 2024

This election period will elect all the student leaders within our student groups, as well as our unfilled Community Officer positions, who are there to represent underrepresented groups on campus, and members of our Societies, Sports and Opportunities Executive, who work with the VP Societies and Sport to develop policy and plans in their area of engagement. For student group elections, if you are a current student and a paid, standard member of any group you can stand and vote for the committee for the coming year. Please note, you must also be a student in the 2024/2025 academic year in order to stand in the election.
