Grab your friends and get ready to step into 'Candyland' as we introduce your new weekly club night... Pop!
That's right, every Friday in the Union Venue you can unashamedly sing your hearts out and dance the night away to the cheesiest pop classics!
We'll have a different theme each week, but for this event you can expect pick 'n' mix, inflatable giveaways, dancers, confetti and a balloon drop (who doesn't love one of those?!)
Fridays will never be the same again!

Term passes
If you love a Wednesday or Friday night out at the SU, you'll be delighted to know we're bringing back termly passes for the start of the new academic year. Not only will they guarantee you access to all events on your chosen night during term one (excluding Freshers' Festival), we'll also throw in a free ticket to Blowout: Jingle Bell Pop! (worth £10) for the final SU night of term on Friday 13 December.
Entry guarantee
Tickets will guarantee you entry into the venue until 11pm, after this time entry will be dependent on venue capacity until midnight.
Transferring a ticket
Online tickets may be transferred to another individual at the following location on the day of the event:
Union Helpdesk - Midday to 8pm
The person whom you are transferring your ticket to must be present and have valid ID. Please remember that you are responsible for any guests you sign in even if you transfer your own ticket and do not attend.
What to do with your e-ticket
Your College Card will automatically have your ticket added to it once payment is completed online. You simply need to turn up at the event with your College Card and photographic proof of age ID (driving licence, passport, PASS card or government ID) or a signing in wristband and the person who signed you in if you are a guest.
Signing in a guest
Guests need to be signed in at any of the following locations and times:
Union Helpdesk - Midday to 8pm
On the door - 10pm onwards
This can only be done on the night of the event.
Fast track entry
If you want fast track entry on the night you can exchange your e-ticket for a wristband on the day of the event at the ‘Wristband Exchange’. This will take place in the following location:
Union Helpdesk - Midday to 8pm
Please note that additional ticket holders need to be present when exchanging for a wristband and wristbands must be placed on your arm at the time of collection. We cannot refund any wristbands that are lost between collection and the event start so please look after your wristband.
