Ireland's punishment for finishing second in Pool A following a surprise defeat to hosts Japan is a quarter final clash with the All Blacks - the clear tournament favourites who are seeking a third straight title.

It's a fixture Ireland have won just twice in 31 attempts but they'll be buoyed by the fact those victories have come in two of the last three meetings between the nations. The Irish will look to take inspiration from their 16-9 victory last November, as they face the formidable force that sit atop the world rankings.
