Big Bears Wednesday

15 different sports clubs will be playing their matches on home soil. Support your fellow students this Big Bears Wednesday!

Are you ready for Big Bears Wednesday? We've got over 15 teams playing matches at home across a whole range of sports, from the Netball 1st's v University of Chichester, to the Hockey Women's 1st's taking on local rivals the University of Surrey.

It all kicks off on Wednesday (16 November) at 1pm. Here's a few reasons as to why you should come and take part supporting your fellow students on Big Bears Wednesday:

See some live sport for free

If you love your live sports, then make sure you're at the sports centre on Wednesday. You'll have the biggest choice of sports, from netball, to lacrosse to football, just to name a few. You get to catch your favourite sports in action and best of all it's totally free. A great way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.

Support your University

While training and tactics are the key componenets to sucess on the field, sometimes support can go along way to helping a team over the line, motivating them to persevere and continue playing at the highest level when things get tough. Come and support your university teams and your friends as they go up against other universities. Your support could be the difference in helping to get that win!

Face Painting

This year, the Royal Holloway Art Society are coming down between 1pm-3pm to do some fancy face painting to help everyone prepare and get their game faces on ready for the host of matches to follow.
