#HealthyU is back! Next week we’re focusing on food and nutrition and showing you that eating healthily can be easy as a student and the positive impacts that doing so has on your studies!

There is plenty to get involved in during the week. We have several events including a Cooking Demo and talk from popular blogger Jemma Andrew Adaimah - check out her blog Celery and Cupcake for a taste of what to expect. Jemma will be visiting us on Tuesday and cooking up some delicious dishes for you to taste!

A whole host of societies will be treating you to lunch on Thursday with our Food Festival taking place outside the SU Building from 12-2pm. Come down and try some food from different cultures!

We also want to hear from you. We are giving away a £20 voucher to be used at the SU weekly Fruit and Veg Market! To be in with a chance of winning this great prize show us pictures of your favourite healthy meals and snacks. Post a picture using #HealthyU on Instagram or Twitter to be entered into the prize draw, it’s as simple as that!

On top of all this I will be posting five of my favourite healthy recipes throughout the week, as well as showing you how to make quick and easy smoothies in my daily smoothie Instagram videos!
