This is a quick message to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to Bears Night last night and made the event such a huge success. We had nearly 1000 Bears through the doors including our very own Colossus D’Bear who enjoyed meeting lots of you and getting his photo taken during the night!
Photos from last night are up on Facebook and our competition to vote for the best photo will be going live on Twitter today for 24 hours. Vote to decide who will win that free Colossus Burger.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to those who performed on stage last night to help reveal our awesome Varsity teaser video! Thank you to Sam Nichols for his show stopping karate kicks (yes I know it’s hard to believe that wasn’t me in the suit) and Lorenzo and Humarrah from the Circus Society for their amazing circus skills. We play University of Surrey on 29 March 2017! You can view the video below.
Now for the best bit! As promised all the money raised from t-shirt sales last night (that’s over £2000) will go straight back into club and society funds to support clubs that need that extra bit of funding throughout the year, to cover things like transport for cup runs. This is an amazing thing to have achieved and it’s all down to you guys!
