Here are five reasons to get involved in #HealthyU and how exercise can help you!
We're well into #HealtyU week so I've put together a quick list of reasons to get involved in #HealthyU and how exercise can help you!
1. Exercise will make you feel better
Exercise releases endorphins that make you feel happy and positive, as well as being a great way to relax and de stress.
2. Exercise can help improve brainpower
Exercise causes your body to create more brain cells and connections, improving your capacity to learn. Who doesn’t want that!?!
3. Exercise can improve your concentration
Think about it, getting out of the library and going for a walk can refresh your mind and help you concentrate for longer on that essay… You know it makes sense!
4. Develop self-discipline
Exercise can help you form a routine and develop skills of adherence and willpower. Qualities that have a positive effect on all aspects of your life.
5. Help you improve your self confidence
Meet new people, socialise and be proud of what you achieve through exercising. Relieve tension whilst looking after yourself and improving your self esteem.
So get out there and be a part of #HealthyU. Be that with our Super Steps Challenge or one of the many free events such as Yoga, Volleyball Taster, Fitness Soc Boot Camp and loads more on our events page.
