RAG week is finally upon us! Clubs and societies will be holding a whole range of events throughout the week.
For the scrooges of Royal Holloway, deny it all you want – the festive period is right round the corner! While many may associate this with presents, festive food and family time, ‘tis also the season of good will and a great time to make the first steps in helping out the less fortunate people of the world.
With Raise And Give (RAG) Week commencing, it is now easier to spread the festive joy further than the confines of Egham High Street and there's lots of events to get involved with to raise and give to various charities!
To celebrate the start of RAG week, everybody’s favourite Monday night out is being taken over by the RAG team – Toast and Glowsticks! There will be a range of events throughout the week to raise funds for a variety of organisations and charity campaigns.
This includes a Movember celebration aimed at those looking to make an emotional farewell to the tache they have nurtured over the past month. The RAG Talent Show will be presenting a show full of amazing performances from students, encompassing all ends of the creative spectrum, from singing to party tricks, with all proceeds going towards VITAL.
If you’re feeling rather philanthropic and looking to acquire some of Royal Holloway’s finest eye-candy, the RAG Naked Calendars will be officially unveiled at the Festival Market this Thursday in the South Quad! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support the clubs and societies who will be featuring in these calendars. For those starring in it – make the calendar your Christmas gift for the family to hang up in the lounge.
