What are the Executives?
Education Executive
- Received an update on the work of VP Education Alissa Chohan and the school reps, including an update on the progress of a survey investigating how you believe the future of education should be shaped.
- Discussed a proposal of a change to the structure of the academic year including a formal assessment period in term two.
- Deliberated a proposal for an updated extensions policy for the next academic year.
Societies, Sports & Opportunities Executive
- Discussed a proposal for BUCS and LUSL funding for the next two years.
- Discussed a plan for standardising student group memberships for implementation over the summer.
- Agreed principles for student group funding ahead of the new academic year.
- Received an update on the progress of the sustainability taskforce set up by President Kate Roberts, and the introduction of sustainability work across the Union.
Wellbeing, Community & Diversity Executive
Unfortunately the Wellbeing, Community & Diversity Executive did not meet the minimum quoracy for the meeting to take place. However, VP Wellbeing & Diversity Henn Warwick would like to thank members of the Executive for their support throughout the year.
