Alice Goode
VP Wellbeing and Diversity
From 8-12 November, I am running my Disability Week - a campaign focused on celebrating disabled joy and success (being disabled is not all doom and gloom), raising awareness on disability issues and the lived experiences of disabled people. It's a week of breaking down barriers, increasing understanding and showcasing the differences within the disabled community.
I'll be bringing you a variety of events from a Zoom chat with two freelance creatives working in journalism and fashion, to a panel discussion on chronic pain with one of our very own researchers, Anica Zeyen, and Disability Looks Like Me - a fashion show taking place in Medicine on Friday 12 November.
There's much more planned so keep an eye on my social media @rhsuwellbeing and my campaign page for more details and ways to get involved.
For more information on my campaign week or to chat about anything disability-related, please feel free to pop me an email at VPWellbeingDiversity@su.rhul.ac.uk.
