Deliver Academic Communities project in partnership with RHUL that is sustainably funded and supported |
The structure of these communities has been set and former academic socieities moved over to the new model. The next stage is to set up how they will be uspported from the start of the Academic year by both RHUL and RHSU. |

Staff roles have been reviewed and job descriptions updated to reflect the new work required. We have ensured we are supporting the new elements of the Strategy and have an effective way to monitor progress. |

Develop an approach to research and insight that outlines how we gather, interrogate and measure impact from our work |
We have a section of the website devoted to our research projects so that all students can see our progress. We are also discussing with the University the best way to plan reccomendations and where these can be sent to be actioned. |

Conduct a governance and democracy review to evaluate our representation structures including elected roles and academic representation |
We employed a consultant, Counterculture, to come in and condut this review. Both elements have been completed and a report sent to our Board of Trustees, we are now working up implementation plans for both areas and have alrready begun delivering changes. |

Implement an approach that utilises student voice to identify the Union's priorities for each academic year |
This year we established a new way to set student priotities alongside our leadership elections. This was known as Priotiry 8, utlising data gathered from a number of student egagement activities we set 20 priotiries for students to vote on. They picked the most important 8, which we are now working on as a Union. |

Undertake effective board and committee mapping, utilising this to understand spaces for lobbying to take place |
Given the outcomes of Priotiry 8 we have been mapping with the University to decide the best place for these conversation to be held. We also have an apporach for our research reccomendations to be discussed and actoned upon. The final piece was to complete a audit of our meeting attendance to ensure our officers and staff are in effective spaces to carry out their work. |
