Your Executives are back for their third round, taking place between 9 and 11 March, where they’ll be discussing and feeding into some big pieces of work. In case you missed what they got up to last time, you can check out the January round-up or visit the individual Executive pages.

If you’re not sure what they are, effectively, Executives are like a cabinet for each of the Vice President sabbatical officer positions. They are elected students who can hold the Vice President to account, support the campaigns within that agenda, and provide feedback.

Here's what's on the agenda this week:

Education Executive

  • Receiving an update from VP Education Alissa Chohan and the school reps on their activity since the last meeting.
  • Discussing expectations for what Term Three could look like and what support is needed, as well as feedback on the plans for assessments.
  • Looking ahead to the next academic year and initiating a discussion to understand what positive and negative changes to education were made as a result of the pandemic.

Wellbeing, Community & Diversity Executive

  • Receiving an update on the work VP Wellbeing & Diversity Henn Warwick is carrying out.
  • Discussing the creation of a guidebook for Collectives to support them in their role.
  • Looking ahead to the future of Collectives, considering handover, elections, and core activities.

Societies, Sports & Opportunities

  • Receiving an update on the work VP Societies & Sport Lucy Brown is carrying out.
  • Taking a look at plans for recognising student groups through awards.
  • Preparing plans for Student Group Elections.
