Disability History Month has arrived! From 16 November - 16 December, we're celebrating the national campaign which is all about recognising the achievements of disabled people, challenging disablism, and fighting for equality.

I have teamed up with the Disabled Students Collective to raise awareness, empower students, and celebrate the diversity of our campus community.

We've planned a jam-packed month full of activities to celebrate disabled joy and success. It's a month of breaking down barriers, increasing understanding, and showcasing the differences within the disabled community. This year, the theme of the national campaign is Wellbeing, so we've put together a programme of events that will get you moving, mingling, and motivated. We'll be bringing you a variety of events from a Disability Sports Day, to a talk from Wheelchair Rugby Paralympian Aaron Phipps. For some glitz and glamour, the Disability Looks Like Me Fashion Show is making a comeback at Medicine on Friday 25 November. Save the date for some Instagrammable catwalk moments right here on campus! The Disabled Students Collective will be running activities at the library on 21 November so please come and say hi!

There's much more planned so keep an eye on my social media @RHSUSocSport and the news articles linked below for more details and ways to get involved.
