The PGT Experience: Survey Two Results

In Term Three, we ran the second survey of our PGT Policy Inquiry which focused on teaching satisfaction, the UCU strikes, and students’ experiences with University and SU services. Now it's time to share the results!

pgtpgt policy inquiry

Over the course of the 2022/23 academic year, we've been running a PGT Policy Inquiry with the aim of finding out what current PGT students would like to improve about their experiences of studying at Royal Holloway.

In February, the Students’ Union shared the results of the first survey we ran in Term One which focused on students’  experiences in Term One. Fast forward to Term Three and we ran a second survey to find out about teaching satisfaction, the UCU strikes, feedback, skills development, and students’ experiences with University and SU services. Once again, we’re sharing our progress to keep students informed about everything that has happened so far with this Policy Inquiry!

What we learned

What's Next?

Even though the academic year has come to an end for undergraduates, we know that PGT students are still working hard towards their degrees. Our research into their experience also continues, and we have one last survey for you! This final survey is short and will ask you about your experience with your dissertation or major project, your working relationship with your supervisor, and, finally, whether your PGT experience at Royal Holloway has met your expectations.

To say thank you, we'll be randomly selecting two participants to win £50 each. Keep an eye out as we'll announce the first winner while the survey is live, and the second after it closes. To be eligible for the prizes you must complete the survey.

Take the survey!

Once the survey closes on Monday 31 July, the data from all three surveys carried out this year will be collated and published as a Student Voice Report in September. Your valuable feedback will help us drive meaningful change for future Royal Holloway students.

If you have any questions about the survey, contact the Student Voice team at voice@su.rhul.ac.uk.
