Awarded to someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty of any member/committee member throughout their years of participation, showing outstanding dedication and commitment to their group.
5x Freshman Crests are awarded to students who are in their first year of membership with a club. They must be enthusiastic and show great commitment on and off the pitch. The recipient must be viewed as being instrumental in the club's future and doesn't seem like they have been a part of the club for only one year.
Awarded to someone who has shown outstanding dedication to Student Opportunities, going above and beyond to make a difference to sports clubs and wider student engagement. The recipient will have dedicated their time to several different areas with the Students’ Union and student groups.
Awarded to the best coach of a student club; they may be student coaches or professionals. Development, success and achievement will be factors considered when deciding upon this award.
Awarded to a group that has made a significant impact through fundraising, campaigning or volunteering. This should include work with charities, work on improving the lives of its members and students around them, tackling issues that impact students or working towards making a difference within the community.
This award is named after alumnus and 8x Paralympic Gold medallist, Sophie Christiansen. The winner will be a club that has gone to great lengths to not only make its club as inclusive and as accessible as possible but has also educated its members as to why this is so important.
Awarded to recognise a club that has actively worked towards becoming more environmentally sustainable, going above and beyond to leave a lasting positive impact on the environment.
Recognises the commitment, impact and achievement of smaller groups on campus (40 or fewer members).
Awarded to a club that has made a significant effort to develop this year including membership recruitment, range and success of events, maintaining good finances, committee development, etc.
A special trophy donated by Professor Dorothy Wedderburn will be awarded to the team with the most outstanding performance during the season.
Awarded to the most outstanding club of the year, taking into account organisation, development, volunteering, fundraising and community engagement.
