Pammi Pasqual

Paschalis (Pasqual) had a passion for listening to his favourite radio shows and he was dreaming to become a radio DJ/producer since very young. In 2004, when he was only thirteen years old, Paschalis did his first steps as a radio assistant at his uncle's radio station. Few years later and after gaining some experience as radio assistant he was producing his own radio shows for well-known local stations back in his hometown, Serres at N.Greece. This experience during his teenage years gave him the opportunity to achieve working as a resident DJ for some of the Best Clubs and Bars of his city where he had the luck to open for DJ’s such as Agent Greg and Serge Devant.

However, Paschalis was not only interested in playing tunes as a DJ but he became obsessed with the composition and production of them. While at school, he was always carrying a notebook with him not for taking notes but for writting lyrics whenever he was inspired from anything! While his classmates where studying for the high school exams at home, Paschalis was studying how to create beats, watching Youtube tutorials on an old PC, using FL studio and the PC keyboard as MIDI at his bedroom!

In 2008, his co-operation with his friend and DJ-partner Martin Levon was a big chapter for his career. He performed in many places around Greece as BACK2BACKTM while their collaborative music productions were released on Beatport, i-Tunes e.t.c. Producing sounds in the genres of House, Progressive House and Deep House had as a result some of their tracks to be released on Beatport and being included in albums such as IBIZA 2012 and WMC Miami 2013 & 2014 (Housearth Records). The pick of his career was when the well-known English DJ Matt Darey played and included Pasqual's track "Mirror-Back2BackTM" on his playlists and sets. Back then, their track "Somewhere" hit 100.000 viewers while their track "Paradise" was feautured in DJ sets with over 5 million viewers on Youtube.

However, the Greek financial crisis and its consequences to the Greek economy and society pushed him away from his own country. At the age of 21 he decided to immigrate, study and work for developing his solo career at the U.K. Paschalis studied Music and Audio Production at the Universities of Wolverhampton and Middlesex while he had to work in random jobs to pay his bills and studies at the same time. However, soon he found his way and after graduating he started performing in bars and clubs of London.

The above experiences helped him to start developing his own record label called Playdance Records through which he promotes his music and the music of other talented DJ’s, producers and electronic bands. Except from running the record label, Paschalis is also working at the Chamber Studios at West London as an assistant music producer and audio engineer while he is the Resident DJ for All Bar One at Canary Wharf London.
