SU Elections Voting // 9-11 March

Voting opens in this year's SU Elections. We encourage all student staff to get involved in the elections but must remind you that you cannot wear or endorse any candidates while you are on shift.

The Student Staff Forum is a group of representatives from across the whole staff team who come together once a term to feedback to the senior management team. Make sure to feed back to your rep ahead of the next meeting if there’s something you’d like to raise.

Kelly's RH Fun Run // 14 March

The first ever Kelly's Royal Holloway Fun Run takes place on Saturday 14 March and we're looking to get as many SU staff involved as possible. Featuring a 5km and 10km run you can either sign up as an individual (recommended donation of £20) or as a team (free entry). Drop VP Sport Dom Brown an email if you're interested in joining the official RHSU team.

SU Elections

It's that time of year where students go to the polls to elect next year's sabbatical officers. Career staff need to remember that they are politically neutral and cannot show support for any candidates. Here's a few important things to remember:

  • You should not interact with any elections related posts by any candidates on any social media platforms
  • You should not like, support or join any candidate’s elections related groups or events on Facebook
  • You should not retweet any candidate’s election related posts on twitter or share any Facebook posts

As a staff team we have a responsibility to ensure the robustness of the process is maintained and the Union is not brought into disrepute by something as seemingly trivial as a Facebook like. If you have any questions please contact Abi Jesson - Deputy Returning Officer - or Natalie Bates.
