Speak Week

Speak Week is back again and better than ever. We want to hear about what things you want to change on campus. Speak week is a chance to for you to make your voice heard, either online or in-person. We can't wait to hear what you have to say!

Following the success of last year, Speak Week is back from W/C 23 October! Across term one, we’re running a number of activities to hear about the things that are most important to you, and most importantly, identify solutions.

All activities that we carry out as part of Speak Week are open to ALL students. Whether you’re an Academic Rep, Community Officer, member of a student group, media group, or none of the above. This week is for all of you and we encourage you to take part in any way that you can.

Considering everything that’s been going on over the last few years and the move from needing to react to constant changes, we want to get back to understanding what changes you’d like to see at Royal Holloway.

What is Speak Week?

It’s an opportunity for all students to provide feedback on the changes that they want to see at Royal Holloway. Your Officers will be leading the charge, reaching out to as many students as possible and asking for the change they want to see.

Partnering with SU on Tour, we will be holding two main events for you to get involved with:

Tue 24 Oct - 11:00-15:00 at Market Day
Thu 26 Oct - 11:00-15:00 at the EWD Building (Library)

We’ll be asking you one big question:

‘What's one thing you would change to improve your first few weeks of term?’

What happens next?

Once we’ve gathered all of your thoughts on what you’d like to see change, we will collate all of this feedback and identify the top ideas you’ve put forward. These will then make up the basis of what will be brought up to University level discussions and decision-making.
