SSO Executive Elections

 

If you're passionate about student groups and activities on campus, stand now to become a member of the Societies, Sports and Opportunities (SSO) Executive!

SSO is responsible for loads of crucial processes including ratifying new student groups and approving the process for the annual allocation of resources to student groups. You'll work closely with the Vice President Societies & Sport and hold them to account for their work.

Nominations are now open and will close at 23:59 on Friday 17 October.

There are only 5 positions available for SSO in the Autumn Elections. 5 Students were elected as SSO Members in the Community Elections. The Autumn Elections are a by-election to fill the remaining positions.

How to stand

Nominations will open on Friday 19 September at 10:00 and close on Friday 17 October at 23:59. To nominate yourself, all you have to do is click 'nominate yourself', complete the information, and submit your nomination.

To nominate yourself to become a member of the SSO Executive, you must be a current committee member of a society, sports club or media outlet.
