Faculty & Department Reps

Interested in making positive changes that will benefit you and your fellow students? Now is your chance!

This year, the University is moving from a six-school structure to three Faculties, alongside some department mergers. To reflect this, we’ve updated our academic representation system. You can read more on the University structure changes here

As a Faculty Rep or Department Rep, you’ll represent students’ academic interests for the 2026/27 academic year. You’ll work closely with the VP Education and other reps to gather feedback and influence change at key meetings.

What’s changing?
• Introduction of 12 Department Reps (one per department)
• 3 Faculty Reps overseeing departments
• Roles elected in the Community Elections (May)

Get involved:
Nominations open 10 April – 8 May. Course Rep sign-ups run 20 April – 15 May.

If you have any questions or you’d like a one-to-one chat with a member of staff about any of the roles, please get in touch at voice@su.rhul.ac.uk.
