Communities give underrepresented groups the best platform possible to have their voices heard on campus and beyond. The Community Officers lead their community through supporting Members and representing their members.
To nominate yourself to become a Community Officer, you self-identify with the Community.
Nominations are now open and will close at 23:59 on Friday 16 October.

Job description
Nominations will close on Friday 16 October at 23:59. To nominate yourself, all you have to do is click the button, complete the information, and submit your nomination.
To nominate yourself to become a School Rep, you must belong to the corresponding School and be enrolled as a student in the 2026/27 academic year.
Nominations opened on Friday 18 September at 10:00 and will close on Friday 16 October at 23:59. To nominate yourself, all you have to do is click ‘Stand’, complete the information, and submit your nomination.
To be eligible to run in the election to become a Community Officer, you must make sure you self-define in your profile. Only full members of a Community (i.e. those who self-define into individual groups) are eligible to nominate themselves and/or vote. Check out the definitions of each Community to see if you are eligible. Regardless of how you identify, you can also sign up as a member of a Community to be kept up to date with anything that goes on in it!
All PGR and PGT students are automatically self-defined, but still need to sign up for membership to be informed of anything the Community Officers are up to!
You must also be enrolled as a student in the 2026/27 academic year.
