Tickets for Society Awards are £35.00, which includes a welcome drink, two extra drinks, a selection of canapé bites and bowls, as well as entertainment throughout the evening.
The Students' Union is keen to take the necessary steps to meet the accessibility requirements of all people and promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities. If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know when you purchase your ticket and we'll be in touch.
Tickets
You will have the opportunity to specify which group you would like to sit with when you proceed to checkout. We will try our best to sit you in your requested group, but we cannot guarantee this will always be possible.
Price breakdown
Society Awards operate on a break-even budget where every pound of each ticket is allocated across the operating costs of the event, from decoration and awards to tech and entertainment. Here's a quick breakdown of how the ticket price is made up:
Drinks offers
All guests will be able to enjoy a range of reduced-price drinks on the night.
These will include:
- Glass of house wine £2.50
- Draught beer/cider £2.50
- Bottled beer £2.50
- VK £2.50
- Mocktails £2.50
- Bottle of house wine £10.00
Groups
We understand that you may wish to buy some extra wine or soft drinks at the event if you have outstanding money in your group social accounts.
If you wish to put in a request for extra drinks, your President should submit a ticket through Freshdesk.
You can choose from the following drinks:
Wine
- Red/White/Rosé house wine £10.00
Soft drinks
- Fentimans Cola £2.50
- R. White's Cloudy Lemonade £2.50
- R. White's Raspberry Lemonade £2.50
Please include how many bottles of wine/soft drinks you would like to request for your group (maximum ½ bottle wine or one soft drink per member attending). Please also tell us the name of the one committee member who will be responsible for collecting your extra drinks (if your President isn’t attending the event).
All money will be debited from your social account prior to the event. Please only request extra drinks if you know you have sufficient funds in your social account! Requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
The deadline for groups to request to buy drinks from their social account is midday on Wednesday 19 February. We will reply to your ticket through Freshdesk to confirm if your request has been successful.
