How does it work?
Every October we ask student staff members who are interested in representing their peers at Student Staff Forum meetings simply to put themselves forward. There is no interview or election process – it’s simply a case of expressing your interest.
We aim to have one or two representatives from each of the student staff teams and we invite you to a meeting with two senior managers (usually the Head of Membership Support & Engagement, and the Head of Trading Services) once per term. These meetings are structured, with actions noted, but they aim to take place in a relaxed environment and each rep is paid for their time.
