What is an
Academic Rep?

Academic representation is a joint initiative between the University and the Students’ Union, giving students a voice in their education. It takes place across four levels: course, department, school and university, with reps working to represent the academic interests of their cohorts and improve the student experience.

Every student has a course rep and senior course rep. With over 400 reps signed up this academic year, you can find your rep by searching for your department below. PGR students can visit the PGR Rep Hub to share feedback while studying at Royal Holloway.

As School Rep, I’ve been working hard with the course reps to collect as much feedback as possible to relay back to the school administration. Together with the SU, we ran two successful Rep Fairs in the library where we collected over 80 pieces of constructive feedback that we are working to tackle.

Hey there, it’s Delilah! Your PDA School Rep for 2025/26.

So far this term, I have run a “welcome back” event for the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences in collaboration with the LSS School Rep, Josh; run the PDA stand at the Academic Rep Fair to meet you all, and share what it’s like to be a rep; and hosted a Wassail event on campus with Morris dancing and live music!
