After a quiet 18 months for our Give It A Go events (for obvious reasons) we are very excited to announce that the programme is back and better than ever!
What is Give It A Go?
These are smaller-scale social events for you to take part in outside of your studies. The main focus of the Give It A Go programme is to make campus fun, giving you a chance to meet new people in a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment! Whether that's chilling out at a movie screening or Board Games Cafe, or putting your creative skills to use at Cupcake Decorating or craft events, there is truly something there for everyone! Plus most of the events are alcohol-free and free/very low cost!
What events have already happened?
This year we have already run lots of events such as the Petting Zoo with over 1000 students attending, a Disney Movie Night with 118 people coming along and a Craft Night which saw 116 of you decorate mugs, tote bags and much more!
What is coming up & how can I get involved?
There is a whole calendar of events that are set to go ahead for this term. These include a Day Trip to Brighton (my hometown, which I can’t recommend enough for a visit if you haven’t already!), Decorate a Mini Photo Frame, movie nights, Pets as Therapy, a Reptile Experience, Beginners Sign Language Classes, Meditation Sessions, Beginners Self-Awareness and Defence Classes and so much more! Plus at the end of the Term, there’s a bunch of Christmas-themed events to get you into the Xmas spirit.
