With the announcement on Monday 23 March of tighter restrictions around social distancing due to the spread of Covid-19, we wanted to reassure those students still living on campus that the Union Shop will remain open.
It's important that those of you living in halls can make the shortest trip possible to buy essentials and we're committed to continuing this service, but we are making a number of changes to how we operate which we need your help with.

As we have previously stated, we have well-developed supply chains that are robust, and the team are working incredibly hard to keep our shelves fully stocked. Our opening hours remain 08:00 - 18:00. We're currently still working on ways in which we can support students who are high risk or have accessibility issues and will release more on this in the near future.
The Union Shop will be closed over Easter weekend, Friday 10 April - Monday 13 April, re-opening on Tuesday 14 April. Please ensure you plan ahead and purchase your groceries and other essential items in plenty of time to avoid making the shop busier than it needs to be.
We continue to work closely with the University regarding our response to Covid-19 and will provide guidance as appropriate through our social media channels and via our website.
It is important that you continue to follow the government’s advice with regard to handwashing, travel and the symptoms and continue to monitor the student intranet and University social media for updates from the College.
