meet your community officer

Hello everyone! I'm Eton, your Commuting Community Officer for 2026/27.

With half of our students commuting, my aim is to make sure every commuter is heard and to push for changes that help everyone. This year, I'll be working to make travel more accessible, starting with making station closures widely known, so nobody has to find out through a friend or one line on the SWR website.

I'll also be working with societies to schedule events earlier in the day and to promote the ones that are commuter-friendly.

I look forward to making this year as delay-free as possible!
