Here at Pool and Snooker Society, we offer a welcoming community for players of all abilities. Whether you want to compete, improve your game or simply meet new people in a casual environment, there is a place for everyone. It does not matter if you are an experienced player or have never picked up a cue before. University is the perfect opportunity to try something new and make friends through our regular sessions and socials.

Our weekly sessions include:

• Weekly socials every Wednesday at the Packhorse before heading to the SU later in the evening for anyone who wants to continue the night
• Casual sessions every Sunday at 2pm at the Packhorse
• Competitive sessions every Monday at 7pm in Crosslands

Membership

We offer three membership options:

• Social Membership – Free
  • (Ideal for anyone who wants to become part of the society and attend our Wednesday socials without taking part in regular playing sessions)
• Casual Membership – £10
  • (Perfect for players who want to enjoy casual games of pool and snooker at our Sunday casual sessions. All skill levels are welcome and no previous experience is required)
• Competitive Membership – £20
  • (Designed for members who want to improve their skills and play competitively. This membership includes access to our Monday competitive sessions, an internal society tournament every four weeks and the opportunity to represent Royal Holloway at external competitions such as BUCS and Varsity)
