Academic Community London Campus

The Academic Community London Campus (ACLC)
"Elevating your degree. Curating your social life"

ACLC is the first student society at Royal Holloway’s Central London campus — created to bring together postgraduates across all eleven masters programmes at Bedford Square.

The London campus has always been a place where students study alongside each other without really meeting. We exist to change that: to build a community across cohorts that don’t otherwise cross paths, through events, talks, and the social life that should come with a postgraduate degree.

What we do;
We run academic and social events — from our debut TEDx talk to networking socials — designed to connect students who’d otherwise never share a room.

Our first event;
TEDxRoyalHolloway, 19 June 2026 — the first TEDx ever held at our campus.
