Welcome to the Royal Holloway Chinese Students and Scholars Association (RHUL CSSA)!
RHUL CSSA is a student-led society dedicated to supporting Chinese students at Royal Holloway, building a welcoming and inclusive community, and sharing Chinese culture with students from all backgrounds.
Whether you are new to the UK, looking to meet new people, or simply interested in Chinese culture, everyone is welcome to join us.

What We Do / 我们的活动
Throughout the academic year, RHUL CSSA organises a wide range of social, cultural, sports, travel and career-related activities, giving students opportunities to make friends, explore new experiences and enjoy university life together.
全年我们都会举办丰富的 社交、文化、运动、出游及职业发展活动，让大家在大学生活中认识更多朋友、体验不同文化，也留下属于 RHUL 的特别回忆。
🎓 Freshers' Events / 新生季活动
We organise a variety of activities at the beginning of the academic year to help new students settle into life at Royal Holloway.
Activities may include campus tours, Freshers' Fair, welcome parties, ice-breaking games, new student meet-ups and other social events.
每年新学期，我们都会举办一系列迎新活动，帮助新生快速熟悉校园、融入大学生活并认识更多朋友。
活动包括校园游、Freshers' Fair 摆摊、新生派对、破冰游戏、新生见面会等。
🥮 Chinese Culture & Festival Celebrations / 中国文化及传统节日活动
One of our main aims is to share Chinese culture with the wider Royal Holloway community.
Throughout the year, we celebrate major Chinese festivals such as the Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival and Dragon Boat Festival.
Activities may include traditional crafts, calligraphy, Chinese food, cultural games, performances and interactive workshops.
传播中国文化是 RHUL CSSA 的重要部分。
全年我们会围绕 中秋节、春节、元宵节、端午节 等传统节日举办不同形式的文化活动，包括传统手工、书法、中国美食、文化游戏、表演和互动体验等。
🎃 Social & Themed Events / 社交及主题活动
We organise regular social events where students can relax, meet new people and enjoy university life outside the classroom.
Activities may include:
• Halloween Parties
• KTV Nights
• Christmas Socials
• Werewolf & Avalon Nights
• Mahjong Events
• Game Nights
• Social Dinners
• Themed Parties
• Secret Mission and Ice-breaking Games

🏸 Sports Day & Sports Socials / 运动日及体育活动
RHUL CSSA also organises sports activities to encourage students to stay active while meeting new people.
Our sports events may include badminton, basketball, table tennis, football, relay games and casual team competitions.
We also plan larger CSSA Sports Days, where students can form teams, compete in friendly games and enjoy a relaxed day together.
我们也希望通过运动活动，让大家在认识朋友的同时保持活力。
体育活动可能包括羽毛球、篮球、乒乓球、足球、趣味接力以及团队小游戏等。
我们也计划举办 CSSA 运动日，通过轻松友好的团队比赛，让不同专业、不同年级的同学一起参与。
🚌 Trips & City Exploration / 周边出游及城市探索
We organise day trips and city exploration activities throughout the year.
Popular destinations may include Windsor, London, Oxford, Cambridge, Brighton and other nearby towns and attractions.
Activities may include city walks, sightseeing, Christmas market trips, photography walks and cultural visits.
我们也会组织英国周边一日游及城市探索活动。
目的地可能包括 温莎、伦敦、牛津、剑桥、布莱顿以及其他周边城市和景点。
活动形式包括 City Walk、景点打卡、圣诞集市、摄影活动以及文化体验等。
🎤 Entertainment & Creative Events / 娱乐及创意活动
We aim to provide more opportunities for students to showcase their talents and interests.
Activities may include:
• Music and band performances
• DIY Workshops
• Creative cultural workshops
