Economics

The Economics Society at Royal Holloway, University of London is a place to unite students from the Economics Department with other students that have an interest in the topic. We also encourage alumni of both the Economics Society and the Economics Department to stay in the loop with all the exciting events and activities that are happening this year.

As a society we aim to provide our members with networking events, conferences, support groups and more! We are always open to new ideas so please don't hesitate to contact us.

Socials

It is important to us that our members meet regularly and have a great time! As an academic society, much of what we do is about learning and networking. However, we have a 'work-hard, play-hard' mentality and hope our members will share this. We will have regular socials at a local pub, movie nights, dinners and much more!

If you feel you are not being represented with the types of socials we host, let us know! We are an extremely flexible society and want to make sure there is an activity and event for every one of our members.

Conferences & Networking Events

They say it is who you know not what you know, but we believe it is both. Royal Holloway EconSoc is dedicated to giving you the perfect mixture of network-building and knowledge-sharing events. With London nextdoor, we plan to organize and attend all relevant networking events and conferences throughout the year. Here you can build your network and learn about business, finance, economics and more. Students with membership will benefit from ticket discounts and for numerous events attendees will be shuttled back and forth via buses organized by us.

Guest Speakers

Each term we plan to both organize and attend relevant guest speaker lectures in London and at the University.

We are always looking for exciting and passionate speakers. Whether you're an author, professor, economist or even a student - we want to hear from you! If you are interested in giving a speech or lecture or know someone who is, please contact us.
