At the Royal Holloway Motorsport Club, we're all about fueling your passion for motorsports. Whether you're a seasoned petrolhead or just looking to dip your toes into the world of racing, our club offers a vibrant community where students come together to share their love for speed, and competition.
BUKC: Race in a high performance club 100 kart with a free revving 20 horse power 2-stroke engine propelling you around some of the UK's most iconic circuits. We are always on the look for the next driving star that will bring Royal Holloway into the spotlight. Open to all skill levels this highly competitive championship will scratch your competitive itch.
BUSR: Compete in virtual races for championships in F1, Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, and Dirt Rally 2.0 where races are live streamed and commented on. Competing under the NSE banner the BUSR is a student run organisation that was brought to life by former RHUL motorsport president Jason S.
Varsity: Every year Royal Holloway competes against the University of Surrey in an inter-varsity competition. Seeing each respective sports club perform at their best for a chance at victory. Racing against Team Surrey at Daytona Sandown Park it is a friendly competition where we have won the race overall in 2023 varsity race.
Motorsport in general is a very male dominated sport where women find it hard to achieve their dreams working in the world of motorsport. Here at Royal Holloway Motorsport we pride ourselves on welcoming a diverse range of members where they can feel safe and welcomed in an ever growing community of motorsport enthusiasts. Regardless of identity and ethnicity you will always find a warm welcome when attending motorsport events with us. With our Social and Wellbeing Director Abi Ornadel you will always have someone to talk to regarding wellbeing at Royal Holloway Motorsport.
Entirely optional but your responses will give us a better idea of what our members want from us as a student group. It will also help determine numbers for social and competitive racing (kart and sim).
