About us

RHUL Netball is an inclusive and friendly group of girls who not only have a huge passion for Netball but enjoy training and playing in competitive matches throughout the academic year.

As a sports society, we also enjoy 'off-pitch' activities such as team meals and trips to local attractions, offering members a chance to make friends outside of the university campus.

We believe you should join the RHUL Netball club if you want to experience being part of a competitive, yet social and light-hearted sports team and make lasting friends and unforgettable memories at university.

Purchasing a membership to our sports society will give you access to all of our competitive fixtures throughout the season. What's more, your membership also entitles you to weekly training sessions with our amazing coaches and the opportunity to develop your strength and conditioning abilities through dedicated sessions. We have two amazing coaches - Shelley & Ellie - who are dedicated to giving members the best experience and helping them to develop throughout the year.

For term 1, we have set out membership prices at £75 per person. Your membership fee will go towards the running of the club, including transportation to fixtures and top quality equipment to ensure we can run the club as smooth and efficiently as possible.

As a member, you will get an amazing opportunity to represent your university alongside friends you have made for life and additionally, keep fit and healthy! (Please note, the kit is sold separately at the beginning of the season.)

We train together twice a week with our coaches, working on tactical and technical game elements -working on  different in-game systems and improving fitness. Game fixtures take place twice a week. Our training sessions are as follows:

Tuesday 5:30-7.30 pm

Friday 8-10 pm

(Please note, all of these sessions will be run outside in term 1 on MYtennis courts at the Sports Centre)

At RHUL netball we put our members first and our priority is always to make members feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. Our 'netball family' system allows new and returning members to unite and get to know each other better throughout the year. At the beginning of the term, we allocate a new member to a returning member. This pairing then collaborate throughout the year at socials, training and other events! The 'mother-daughter' netball pairing is always such a fun aspect of netball and each year allows members to get to know each other throughout the academic year.
