Squash

Squash is a fast moving game, which develops speed, skill and fitness. Balls reach up to 170mph and on average players burn up to 1,000 calories per hour, making squash a great work-out. The close-knit nature of the RHUL Bears Squash Club allows any member to feel involved, whether a team player or a social player. We aim to provide a platform both for the development of beginner players, but also to allow for more established players to compete on a national level.  In 2017/18, the focus of RHUL Bears Squash will be on encouraging members to play regularly to improve their game. We will host more socials and provide more social playing opportunities, meaning that we have plenty to offer to every member of our club. For social members, we will run coaching and non-coaching sessions twice a week, in addition to the coaching that team members can receive from our professional coach. On the competitive side of the club, we enter teams into the BUCS and LUSL leagues, as well as entering teams into other competitions such as the Roehampton Cup and the National Championships. Regardless of your ability, we’d love to see you on court at Kingswood in September!
