About Me

Hi, I'm Mike, an experienced senior leader in Higher Education with 18 years of experience leading a diverse range of professional service directorates. These included student facing services, wellbeing, strategic planning and most recently, technology and digitisation

My experience

I have led digital transformations through the design and sponsorship of large-scale programmes and equipped universities with models of governance and portfolio-based plans to deliver technology enabled change at pace. I have also supported universities addressing the challenges of cyber security and wider issues of technology and infrastructure related risk.

I now specialises in consultancy and programme management focussed on digitisation, risk management and transformation with Higher Education.

Like many colleagues across the sector, I first became aware of the breadth and scale of university operations as an officer of a Students’ Union – Royal Holloway’s to be precise and as a result, have a very strong personal affinity and passion for both the SU and the College as a whole.
