What is the PGR Collective?

The Postgraduate Research Student Collective supports the activities and interests of postgraduate research students on campus.

Who leads the PGR Collective?

The Collective is led by six convenors, one for each academic school, who are elected by the student body to lead the representative work that the Collective delivers. PGR Academic Reps are also members of the Collective and are supported by the relevant convenors.

• The PGR Collective convenors are represented at the Students' Union Education Executive and Wellbeing, Community and Diversity Executive. They also attend College meetings representing the voices of PGRs.
• Your convenors and academic reps meet regularly as part of the PGR Forum, alongside the Doctoral School to discuss College-wide issues facing PGRs.
• PGR Academic Reps attend Staff Student Committees to provide feedback at programme level.

How do I join?

All PGR students are automatically members of the Postgraduate Research Student Collective at the point of enrolment.
