Meet with University staff to understand how the current Extenuating Circumstances process works
Organise focus groups with students to understand their experiences of applying for Extenuating Circumstances
Represent student feedback to senior leadership staff at the University and lobby for change
Launch an awareness campaign explaining how Extenuating Circumstances work and where students can access support
Integrate EC support into existing SU campaigns like Wobble Week and Stressbusters
Review the EDI strategy to ensure student leaders understand current university and union services, holding the University accountable for communicating available support
Run sessions for student leaders on how to signpost community members
Alongside VP Education, promote the policies around Extensions and Extenuating Circumstances and how they can ease pressure from deadline stacking
