Medicine Live ft. Maggie Cassidy

Join us for our weekly live music night on campus, where we'll be showcasing the talent in the local area. This time, we'll be joined by dirty-pop band, Maggie Cassidy.

Maggie Cassidy is a five piece dirty pop band out of Guildford, Surrey. Formed in 2017 and named after an early Jack Kerouac novel, they’re ready to take their playful brand of intelligent pop music to a mainstream audience. These boys bring with them a relentless, energetic live show of strong material best described as sad songs you can dance to.

Their debut single ‘Guide Me’, produced by Pete Miles (We Are The Ocean, Dry The River, Canterbury) at MiddleFarm Studios, is an urgent guitar pop song with a powerful message. It blends filthy baselines with irresistible vocal hooks to stunning effect as they showcase a penchant for creating lively dysphoric pop tracks. Vibes like 'The Maine', feels like Drake, riffs like Don Broco; these boys have a scalable sound which is fit to explode.

After the live music, you can show off your musical skills as we'll be hosting a free-for-all jam session.
