Welcome to Student Group Training 2019!

Following all the valuable feedback we received from you this year, we’ve created a re-purposed, re-branded event with a brand new name for this summer! On Monday 10 June we will be giving Presidents, Treasurers and Secretaries the key information they need to get through the summer as a brand new committee. This will range from how to effectively complete the all-important Annual Grant document, to picking up tips and ensuring your group is inclusive and open to all. We know, at the end of the year, a heavy onset of information from us is not the way to go – we’re all tired, ready for some TLC and to spend time in the Quads with friends. Therefore, this year, we are giving only the vital information, to a lesser number of committee members over the span of a much shorter day. Nice!

The training will focus on guiding you through necessary documentation and actions to be completed over the summer, which is why only Presidents, Treasurers and Secretaries are required to attend. Fear not, there will be another training day held in September designed for all committee members to cover the practical skills and processes needed to hit the ground running. Think of is as Part One and Part Two of The Deathly Hallows, but Student Opportunities!
