"My family knew I could sing, but nobody else. Then in year 7, my friend told the teachers I should perform at the end of year assembly. So I sang Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud."  That's when his whole life changed, and he was set on a path to becoming perhaps the youngest and most explosive viral singer of his generation in the UK.

Posted on Instagram with the #imjustbait hashtag, Deno gained thousands of followers and further videos caught the attention of Stormzy, who retweeted one of them, got in touch, and took Deno into the studio with him to guest on his #1 album Gang Signs & Prayer.

A creative partnership with rapper AJ followed, with Deno singing the chorus on the track Know Me which has since racked up 2.7 million YouTube views. They began performing more consistently, including opening up for Migos at IndigO2, before being signed by Sony Columbia UK in 2017.

In 2018, commercial success came their way in the form the hit London ft. EO which has amassed 39M views.

His ensuing collaboration with Cadet spawned the track Advice which went viral with over 30 million YouTube views, reaching No. 14 on the Official Charts with over 500,000 salesearning a Brit Certified Gold Award.

More singles followed as he featured in the hit Pumpy by Da Beatfreakz also featuring past collaborators AJ, Swarmz, and Cadet. In 2019 he released First Days, a tribute to Cadet, who died in a road collision in February of that year.

In September 2019, the single Change ft. DigDat was released with a video directed by Darnell Depradine, before Deano teamed up with men's global fashion wear brand BoohooMAN for a 30-piece fashion collection.

In late 2019, Deno released EP Eye 2 Eye which he toured around the UK and Ireland in January 2020.
