So here’s the deal: making friends at Uni can feel a bit… daunting. Ever wanted to meet new people without the awkward “so… what’s your degree?” silence? 

 Enter the Find a Friend Evening - a speedy, low-stakes way to meet a bunch of new faces without the awkward small talk (don’t worry, we’ve got conversation starters to save you from the dreaded silence). 

It’s basically speed dating, but for friendships. You’ll bounce between chats, laugh at some random ice-breaker questions, and maybe even find your new favourite pub-quiz teammate. Whether you’re a commuter or living on campus, this is for every student who wants to expand their circle (or at least find some familiar faces to nod at across campus). 

Why come? Well, aside from the fact it’s free (yep, zero cost), it’s fun, light-hearted, and you might just walk away with a new pal or two. And honestly, even if you don’t, you’ll at least leave with a few good stories. 

Oh, and the best part? Once we’re done, the Packhorse Pub Quiz kicks off, followed by a club night - so you can keep the good vibes rolling. Come alone, come with friends, either way you’ll be just fine.
