Engineering Society's Charity Egg Drop Challenge

Get ready for a cracking good time at Engineering Society’s Charity Egg Drop Challenge, in collaboration with Diversity in STEM!  

Join us for a fun, hands-on engineering challenge where teams or individuals will design & build a protective device to keep an egg safe from a dramatic drop. It’s a creative test of problem-solving, teamwork & innovation - no experience needed, just enthusiasm! 

Whether you're a seasoned engineer or just curious to try something new, this event is all about supporting the celebration different perspectives in STEM and raising money for a great cause. 

 What to expect: 

 - A friendly engineering challenge open to all 

- Materials provided (or bring your own creative ideas - subject to officials’ final judgement) 

- Prizes for the best designs and most impressive saves   

A chance to support greater inclusion and representation in STEM  

All profits go towards initiatives that help make STEM more accessible, diverse and welcoming for everyone.
