Students’ Union Royal Holloway, University of London is the representative body for students of Royal Holloway, University of London and provides wide-ranging services for its members based at the Egham campus. The Union is a charity with annual revenues of £2.3million, career staff of 35, approximately 200 student staff and 500+ active volunteers. Our services range from a welfare advice centre to 100 sports clubs and societies, a night club and an accommodation letting service.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Lettings Manager to take over the day to day operations and management of our internal student lettings agency (Ulet).
The Lettings Manager position is self-driven and autonomous and would ideally suit a self-starter who is happy to work alone but be part of the wider Membership Services team. The welfare of students is fundamental to the role but in conjunction there is a drive to develop and grow the business to ensure sustainability. This must be done in an ethical manner so that student welfare remains at the forefront of the business model.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with lettings knowledge, excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate at all levels and who holds a full driving licence. We would welcome applications from individuals who may not yet have acquired an ARLA qualification but who are either working towards qualification or would be willing to gain qualification in the early stages of employment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, growing and dynamic organisation and to make an impact for our students. For an informal conversation about this opportunity, please contact Andrew Steadman, Membership Services Manager on 01784 276 700 or andrew@su.rhul.ac.uk.
