Academic Rep Election Results

It's finally time to announce the successful candidates of the academic rep elections!

academic reps
For the first time in RHSU academic representation history, the results are in, and we're excited to reveal the people who will represent you on your programme of study.

A huge thank you to everyone who engaged with our first ever online elections for academic representatives - a massive 1,935 votes were cast over three days. Thank you to everyone one who stood, and to all those that took time out of their day to vote.

Course Reps are an integral part of life here at Royal Holloway - they will be there to represent your academic interests to your department and the wider college. We ask you now to take an interest in who has been elected to represent you, think about how you can support them and work with them to ensure that your course is the best it can be. Reps will be attending committees and meeting with academics, so the more insight they have the more chance they can make the changes you want to see.

If you want to find out more about the role of an academic rep and what they will be doing to support you have a look at our website

So who are the reps?

With so many positions filled, listing all successful candidates in this article would have made it very long so we've created a PDF document for you to download and eagerly scroll through! You can use the find function (Ctrl+F/Cmd+F) to locate a position quickly.

Congratulations to everyone who has been successfully elected for a rep role - running in elections of any kind can be a very daunting experience, so you should all be very proud that you made the decision to stand. If you were successful, you will receive an email from us asking you to sign up to training, these sessions will start next week and cover all that you need to know about being a rep. We can’t wait to meet you!
