'Ask for Angela' Campaign

We’re proud to be supporting ‘Ask for Angela’, a campaign run to provide a vital lifeline for anyone who finds themselves in a difficult situation they can’t get out of.

Ever been on a date that isn’t working out, or felt like you’re not in a safe situation? Maybe your Tinder date wasn’t who they said they were on their profile, or perhaps there was a weird vibe where something just didn’t feel right?

Unfortunately these things occur, but we want to be there to help you when you need it. That’s why we’re proud to be supporting ‘Ask for Angela’, a campaign supported by National Pubwatch to provide a vital lifeline for anyone who finds themselves in a difficult situation they can’t get out of.

No matter what situation you find yourself in, if you go the bar in any of our venues and ask for ‘Angela’, the bar staff will know you need some help getting out of your situation and will call you a taxi or help you out discreetly.

Surrey Police are going live with the campaign on Monday 26 November, which was originally created by Lincolnshire County Council back in 2016 as part of the #NoMore sexual violence and abuse in Lincolnshire awareness campaign.

Posters will be going up in our venues to promote awareness, and we would urge you to share this message with your friends so that they know help is there should they need it.

If you’re in a situation that you need to get out of, remember: Ask for Angela.
