We're looking for a new Trustee to join our Board and help guide the future of RHSU.
As a Trustee, you'll play a central role in shaping our strategic direction and supporting the elected officers and staff who deliver our work every day.
Royal Holloway Students' Union is an independent charity, led by students and run for students. Our Board of Trustees holds overall responsibility for the governance of the Union, making sure we're financially sound, well run, and always acting in the best interests of our members. As a Trustee, you'll play a central role in shaping our strategic direction and supporting the elected officers and staff who deliver our work every day.
We're partnering with Nurole, the leading board level search specialist, to find the right person for this role. You don't need previous Trustee experience to apply. We're interested in people who bring fresh perspective, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to improving the student experience. This is a voluntary, unremunerated position, and a rewarding opportunity to give something back and develop your own governance experience along the way.
What you'll do
Contribute to Board discussions and decisions on strategy, finance, and risk. Act as a critical friend to the Union's leadership. Support us in staying accountable to our student members and true to our values.
