As a Students’ Union, one of our key aims is to make students more employable, and our brand new Thursday Market is the perfect outlet for you to promote your business, sell your products and start building your amazing career.
What’s this all about?
We have created a market that is filled with different stalls from local businesses selling a range of unique products with a future focus on sustainability. For example, at our first Thursday Market on 6 February, we had a Vintage Clothing Fair, Vinyl Stall, Book Stall, and even a Royal Holloway alumnus bringing in her new granola brand!
We want to give you, as students, the chance to join in and get involved. We want to provide you with all the support you need to help grow your business.
Not only will you have the opportunity to have your very own stall in the middle of this vibrant hub, but we will also post about the market on social media during the day to ensure that your business gets promoted all around campus.

What are the benefits?
One of the biggest problems students face when trying to start their own business is money. The cost of creating, manufacturing and then advertising your product can be financially crippling, so that’s why we’re here to help.
To try and ease the financial burden, we’re offering a 50% discount to hire a stall for all students on campus!
As you also know, the SU is always a hive of activity, with loads of cool events happening every day and of course, the delicious taste of a TK Burger pulling you in. The SU can attract a large footfall for your business. With a reduced stall price and a large flow of people to target, a place at the Thursday Market could be the perfect way to start your journey to success.
