Campaigns Wrapped

The 2025/26 academic year has been a wonderful year for campaigns, and it seems only right to spend some time reflecting and celebrating the incredible work of so many individuals and groups.

The 2025/26 academic year has been a wonderful year for campaigns, and it seems only right to spend some time reflecting and celebrating the incredible work of so many individuals and groups.

This year there has been an incredible 27 campaigns, either led by your Sabbatical Officers, Student Leaders or members of staff, from Liberation History Months to Awareness Campaigns. Within these campaigns there has been an astounding 222 events hosted, from Coffee Mornings to Film Screenings, Guest Speakers and Game Nights. And this amazing work would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our Student Communities, Academic reps, Community Officers, Sports Clubs, Societies and more.

Campaigns have ranged from those lobbying for change: the Anti Artificial Campaign, Financial Support Week, Speak Week and more, to campaigns which sought to raise awareness around important issues from Period Dignity, MENtion it, Estranged Students Solidarity, to Safe Travels and Budget to Bite. These campaigns provide us with just a snapshot of the phenomenal community we have here at Royal Holloway and highlight how lucky we are to have such a diverse student population.

If you have been involved in a campaign this year, whether as an individual or a group, whether you assisted in the planning, the preparation or delivery of a campaign, you should be so unbelievably proud of all your hard work and progress. A massive congratulations and well done to you all from us here at the Students’ Union!

However, if you are eager for more... Please consider running or collaborating on a campaign next academic year. There is always plenty of opportunity for you to get involved and to run a campaign on the topics and issues you care about. Sound good? Head over to the Campaigns Hub to find various resources and guidance on running your own campaign or feel free to get in contact with the SU Voice Team (voice@su.rhul.ac.uk).

Please feel free to head over to the Campaigns page to check out the campaigns that have been delivered this year in more detail.
